Hi All

has two settings for receiving mail. The default one is Fully

Featured. Unfortunately this setting will not let you edit posts to

trim and snip. If you are having problems editing your posts you could

try the following to change your settings to *traditional* which will

let you edit. (Its also slightly safer as it prevents *some* (not all)

malicious codes/scripts <viruses> from entering your computer via

email messages)

Once in to , go to the NP group home page at

/?yguid=227019855

(if that's too long for your browser -

click here -> http://tinyurl.com/c2vm8)

At the top of the page (just after your log on name and email address)

you will see *edit membership* - click it.

On this page you will find the different options available - add an

email address, different profile etc...and how you receive email.

Scroll to the the bottom of the page to *Message Preference* - you

have a choice between Fully Featured or Traditional. Check

Traditional.

Click Save Changes (don't forget this bit or nothing will change :-)

That's it, your next group messages will come in in plain, editable format. :-)

PS The moderators can now do this for individual members - but with

over 1000 it would be kinder on us mods if you did it yourself!

Thanks:-) but if you do have problems, mail me off list and I'll

change it for you - soon as I get time)

PPS - hope this makes sense - I'm *on the minutes* and dashing again.....
