It dissolves immediately in alcohol, making a milky solution. Just let it sit, and the waxy sludge sinks to the bottom, and you have scented alcohol. I've used the wax (undissolved) in cooking -- rice pudding, spanakopita, manicotti. Just a smidgin. CO2s were originally developed for the food industry.
