Today, a judge gave final approval for a Hilton Hawaiian Village settlement over mold. The hotel will pay $1.8 million to more than two thousand guests who joined the class action suit. Those hotel visitors say they didn't know the Kalia tower was contaminated with mold in the summer of 2002. Each guest including several hundred Hawaii residents will receive either a $150 travel voucher or $50 dollars cash. The hotel has fixed its mold problem at a cost of nearly $55 million.
