did anyone see Eastenders last night, they showed a health visitor visiting a

family who had a down's syndrome baby. the way the HV communicated was awful, it

showed health visiting at its worst.

this is not good publicity for the profession.

I did not see it I understand the RCM have taken up the professional issues

of the midwife's practice it would be good if one of the Professional Bodies

picks up the HV one. I would have been happy to contribute but as I did not

see it...
