Joan, perhaps you can help me with this.

I am a member of , obviously, since I am on this mailing list.

Yet when I go to , I can't find my member name. I've tried to search,

but they have no record of me under this email address. I get newsletters

from them, I get several mailing lists emails from them, and yet they can't

find me. I've tried to deal with their customer service, who are clueless

and won't read my email so they keep sending me generic responses to my

questions.

Is there any way you can find out what my member name is?

Thanks,

CK,

Mom to Ian (2/89),

(9/90),

and Rose (6/94)

Here's the thing. You are signed up to all the lists using your email

address. This is different from your " id " (this is incredibly stupid,

in my opinion). For instance, my email address is jmedlen@..., but my

ID is JEGM2002. In order to access the web-related things to our

list, I have to sign in as " JEGM2002 " with a password for that, and then it

will show me the lists I've signed up for.

I looked in the member list. Your email address is there, but you are not

associate with a " ID. " according to the list.

Clear as mud?

Sorry. I wish there was an easier " free " list. Obviously, there was, but

they kept getting purchased............

Oh yes, that was clear.

Here's the deal. I do have a member name, but I don't think it's

linked to the address. I use it at work to access my at-home email. But I

just spent 20 minutes on trying to find a way to link that account and

the email address, and I'm lost.

Thanks anyway.

I haven't noticed any problems yet with my mail and I have a address.

Maybe I'm actually missing out on some really great posts and don't even know

it. I guess we'll see if this e-mail makes it through to the list or not and if

it does then maybe I don't have to worry about it? Like Robin said in

one of the many comedies that he has done - " If it's not one thing, it's your

Mother! "

Yes, it's the time of year for dusting off the broomstick, eh? LOL.
