Guest guest
Morra, My son had to have quite a bit of Dental work last year following mono he had. I did find a dentist that did composites. But on one visit after being quite clear that I wanted Composites, while they didn't think it mattered, went out to the waiting room to check on the youngest playing , to return to find they were putting in the amalgam! I made them take it out right then. Damage done. I sure wish I had known then what more to do then. They could have cared less, and no we do not use them any longer. Thanks for your help, Peace, Kim Since your son is 11, I would also have to ask if he has any amalgam " silver " fillings? This is a major source of exposure to mercury, and a number of other metals. Guest guest
Hey Kim, Good for you for getting it out of there at once. The damage it could do on an on-going basis is MUCH worse than just being there for 1/2 hour and replaced. My " charts " say " no amalgam " in 2 or three places. best wishes, Moria > Morra, My son had to have quite a bit of Dental work last year following > mono he had. Best wishes to you all today Love Pam - Leeds, England AIH 2000 A couple of days ago I read something that indicated people with liver disease should avoid cod liver oil. I can't find the reference right now. I'll keep looking. Harper a, I'm sorry to hear you had such a painful experience. Harper
Guest guest
Hi all (and particularly, ), I am NOT trying to unsubscribe, but to get all these emails " bundled " , or some other option I read about when I first signed up. So many emails come in and it's hard to keep up with all of them. I emailed the " unsubscribe " address to inquire about this, but all I can do via that route is unsubscribe (obviously, I guess!). Any help would be appreciated. Elise --- wrote: >

Guest guest
Hi Stefi -- I'm just catching up on postings now. Our 14 y.o. (OCD/TS/ADHD) son is also a talented athlete and for years was overbooked with soccer, baseball and then cross-country. I've finally been able to get him (and his father) to narrow it down to just the running , since September. The argument, from both my husband and some therapists, has always been that it's good for him to get his ya-ya's out (my interpretation) as much as possible and it gives him an opportunity to be successful when other things (like organization, social interaction, etc.) are less so. The problem comes in when he's too tired to do the school stuff, and being tired can be like any other stress that makes the OCD/TS-type symptoms more prevalent. There is a significant downside to the way that kids' athletics have evolved into such a year-round competitive thing. I know that a few families in our town have insisted that their kids only participate in one sport per season, but it's meant that they lose their position on the team by not participating year round -- either each fall they have to start with a new soccer team and each spring with a new baseball team, or in some cases they've actually managed to put together a group of kids who play only one sport per season -- but that's hard, and almost impossible after elementary school.... keep trying to get them to see the light! The other problem I see is that even with kids who do limit to one year-round sport, they lose the chance to explore other skills (like dance, a musical instrument, etc.) by specializing at a fairly young a ge, and a lot of those kids burn out by high school -- even if they don't have the psychiatric problems that our kids do! Every so often I have the fleeting thought that we were better off with life as it was reflected in " The Donna Show " or " Ozzie and Harriet. " I guess that 's a sign of my advanced age :-) Jane B. Guest guest
There used to be specific liver, lung, kidney cleansing diets on mold relief but the pages are unavailable now or have changed to something else. The liver one was 3 days of nothing but certain hot teas, mixed dark greens, sunflower seeds, organic carrot or beet juice, 20 minute Rosemary and Lemon (one other...Eucalyptus maybe) oil baths 4 times a day, along with the oils being mixed with Jajoba or baby oil or something and rubbed on your stomach/liver area and some sort of nightly enima tea each night. The lung one included ten minutes of early morning breathing exercises in the sun. We tried it for the 3-4 days and i remember it working very well for me considering how sick i was and how bad into everything we still were. It cost almost 200 dollars for the few day regimen of stuff (no name brands...just grocery store and ingredient stuff mattered) and it might work even better if you keep semi on it, even though it's a fast, abrubt cleansing thing for those particular organs, not replacing CSM, but it might help make way for other stuff to work easier....especially the liver one. If anyone remembers them and have them, please post it. Thanks.
