The Pittosporum are about to bloom!

I kept thinking that we wouldn't see them until February, but here they

are. They've not bloomed yet, but after the rains of last week there

are zillions of bunches of unopened flowers on all of the Pittosporum

undulatum trees on my block.

I'm gonna watch 'em like a hawk, and get ready to do enfleurage with

them. I think that since they smell most strongly at night, that I

should pick them just as they're beginning to smell strongly. I'll

report back on how it goes!

Hi Alfred

That is very exciting......is it at all possible to take some photos of the

different stages so we could all have a look? I know for one would be intrigued

and fascinated........it would be lovely to see them on the trees.
