In this example I was attempting to show you not only a " formula " for a dilution, but the calculations for producing 10 grams of it. The formula itself would be: CLOVE BUD OIL 10% Alcohol .90 (90%) Clove bud oil .10 (10%) Total: 1.00 (100%) OR CLOVE BUD OIL 10% Alcohol 900 Clove bud oil 100 Total: 1000 .... To test you on your understanding of this, how would you calculate making a dilution of 40 grams Violet leaf absolute 1%? Mark , ( I've condensed your post to avoid repetition here.) Certainly no apology needed from your end -- it's my confusion and very nice of you to put in a second, detailed effort to clear me up.
