Ok, I couldn't wait until Tuesday. I started a test burn this p.m at 8:00.

I placed an 11 oz. jar candle named " Into the Woods " in the bedroom and

closed the door. 1 hour later I went into the room and was in heaven. The

ultra core wick is burning beatifully, the aroma throw is just wonderful and

fills up the bedroom even though the wax pool is approx 2 1/2 inches in

diameter. The jar container ( a gallery jar with lid) is approximately 3 1/2

inches in diameter.

I am a very happy woman. These 11 oz. candles will sell for $45.00 each. I

only have 3 of the 11 oz. right now. We will see how they do in the

boutique.

Dorothy,

This candles sounds awesome!

Incidentally, I just recently bought a candle of the same name from

Origins, which was discontinued (unfortunate because it smells

wonderful, pretty much just like fir absolute! But fortunately for you !).

I am getting realy into candles lately, and now that we know who

amongst us is making them I may be buying some from you!

My favourites so far has been very expensive candles, from high end

brands - and they smell wonderful and natural even if they are not all

natural. Besides the Origins' one I mentioned, there is the Noel

candle from Annick Goutal which smells just like a fir forest. Fresh

and gentle burning with a delicate throw. I would love to make my own

candles one day, but this is something that will requires different

facitlities than what I have right now...

Off to take a look at Chris's site and the others to find some candles

to fit my fancy :)

Thanks for the info Ayala. I hadn't heard about the Origins " Into the

Woods " candle.

I got into the candle making side of things because what I love is so

expensive. When you are ready to make candles let us know. It is not as

difficult as you might think!
