Hey, maybe you could sell RVs! > Every time I run the custom " mold free " RV concept past people who you'd think would have the greatest vested interest in pursuing this, I am struck by their total lack of enthusiasm. When I think of all the pain I've avoided by having an " Escape Moldule " handy - and think of what it is like for people in my situation NOT to have one - it boggles my brain that people wouldn't put a mold free " Plan B " at the very top of their wish list. Above everything else. Imagine what it would be like to be able to just leave your mold symptoms behind? Whenever you want! It's a miracle. But what is even MORE mind boggling, is that when the CFS epidemic first got rolling in 1985, I was only a few hundred feet behind Dr Cheney's office - already escaping some of my symptoms by hanging out in my camper instead of in a moldy house. I didn't know about cross contamination then, so it was only partially effective and that's why I didn't " push " as hard as I do now. The better I got at controlling exposure - the better I got. Period! For a bunch of people who say they are desperately looking for anything that helps - and are willing to spend vast amounts of money on the weirdest therapies that anyone can invent, it is very strange that CFSers absolutely refused to look at the mycotoxin connection to CFS all this time. Sure I'd like to have a magic bullet that makes all this MADNESS go away, but until then - I'm sticking with a rock solid strategy of extreme avoidance: The toxins you don't breath can't hurt you! -

Guest guest
Gee, mold free trailers, but you have negated the fprmaldehyde that is presenting its own unique set of problems in trailers. The problems are the same, but the reward is that if you succeed, with an RV - you can take your " plan B " with you as you try to make your way through various future sources of mold exposure. When you are house hunting, it's nice to have a backup plan available. I found two brands of RV that were totally contaminated right from the factory. Not only that, but the condensation inherent to such a small space makes RV's extremely high risk for developing a mold problem. That's why I was calling for a custom design utilizing mold resistant materials. It wouldn't be difficult for RV manufacturers to change their materials. They are just now starting to make these modifications, just as the housing industry has begun to do - as they recognize the market for it exists. -

Campers like EagleCap are using aluminum frames, fiberglass shell and styrofoam insulation and high quality paneling containing a minimum of formaldehyde - construction more suitable for people with sensitivities. - Aio, quantitas magna frumentorum est

Guest guest
Thank you, Robin. I am wondering if there can be a conection between mold, human dander and allergic reactions. I look forward to eharing back from you. G mccallalton <mccallalton@...> escribió: > > What makes it easier to find a mold-free RV than a mold free > apartment, condo, or house?
