Guest guest
So, Ed Balls has stepped in to remove Haringey's Director of Children's Services from her post and ordered a new serious case review. The PCT and local Authority were both criticised, in the rapid Ofsted report, for lacking rigour and analysis in their evidence to the original serious case review, which was held to undermine its usefulness. The NHS is being asked to review its child protection arrangements. Will that include looking at whether there are sufficient health visitors in post to carry out their responsibilities, and whether they are adequately supported, I wonder?
