Guest guest
I get my plastic pipettes in large quantities from thechemistrystore.com. My husband gets some of his soapmaking supplies from them. I can't vouch for the quality of any of their ingredients because I haven't used them. They seem geared towards soap-making. But you can't really mess up a plastic pipette. Elise http://www.tambela.com Found mine at American Science and Surplus.... 1ml graduated serological pipettes...These are way thinner than most eyedropper barrels... At one time they had both plastic and glass.... Last time I was there....they didn't have any.....With them it's a hit or miss thing..... I usually cut a pipette into three lengths with the scale on them.....and use the graduations, ignoring the numbering... From back in science class when one had to cut glass tubing.... One makes a scratch on one side with a triangular file..... -- W. Bourbonais L'Hermite Aromatique Elise & , Thank you both for these leads - no, I wouldn't be too worried about fraudulent plastic pipettes, Elise. And , thanks for confirming that the numbering is backwards - and for that nifty trick of making three sizes from one dropper. Sorry to have lagged behind in acknowledging your help - these look like yet good resources and I bet I'll find more than just pipettes of interest at these sites. e
