Hi - I just posted and explained why I am here and my whole -

but long story short I am still researching saline implants as I am

scheduled to have them implanted this Friday. I am trying to gather

the most accurate and factual information I can to truly make an

informed decision (my reasons for doing this are pretty extensive

and are also in my earlier post)

You said you had your implants removed due to illness and that they

were full of bacterial and I would guess dangerous organisms. My

question is (and I am in NO way doubting your claims) were your

implants tested and clinically found to have these things? Like I

said I am just trying to consider clinical infoprmation not only

from people with problems but also those who love them. I have had

trouble finding information like yours that pertains only to saline

and not silicone implants and would appreciate any information that

can help me make my final decision. As far as I am concerned I am

not commited until they knock me out so it's not too late until

then. I'm not waiting until the last minute either as I have been

researching for a very long time.

thank you!

,

Welcome to our group. You have come to the right place, most of us

on this group got sick from safe saline implants.

If you sign in as a member on the left hand side of the screen click

on files and in the file section click on stories. You will be able

to read many of our stories there in much more detail.

I had implants for 16 months. I started getting sick within the

first couple of months. Hair falling out, weight gain due to

thyroid failure, servere joint pain in elbows, burning skin (like my

veins were on fire), kidney trouble, brain fog (its like you are

discounted from your body) extreme fatgie. The month before I was

explanted I thought I was going to die, in fact there were days I

wished I would die I was in so much pain and than I found this site.

These wonderful women saved my life. Since having the implants

removed I have my life back. I still have joint pain every now and

than and now I have to be on Thyroid meds the rest of my life, but

I'm feeling normal again.

I to breast feed three children so I know what you are going

through. But it was not worth it. You would be better off to just

get a lift.

Please , Please don't risk your health. You may end up with great

breasts, but what good are they if you are home sick in bed.

We don't know why some women get sick right away and others don't

get sick for 4, 10 and even 20 years. Some not at all, but we here

all know its not worth the risk.

, I did not have my implants tested yet, due to financial reasonings. I will this summer, However, I did have my capsules (the scar tissue that forms around the implant, as a type of protection) tested ,and they were badly infected. I also, by blood work had serious fungal issues, called candida, and also mycoplasma infections . With increaded inflammatory responses. (That are gone now) I had to be treated with antibiotics for over a year to rid myself of this dangerous infection(mycoplasma) . I had systemic yeast, found even in my blood, and stools. I will have my implants tested, and I am sure they will be , as my capsules around them, and my whole body was full of it. A Dr in Canada - Dr Blias who studies medical devises, (this is whre you send your implants) told me in an in depth conversation on the phone, that saline breast implants are the cheapest devises ever made, or studied my him. No one has a specific "patent" on them, the saline implants by all manufactuers are all the same general cheap makeup, that include a semi permable shell that leaks fluid in and out, capable of allowing bodily fluids in (not good) and out, and also a valve that is made like a cork that falls through the body, once implanted in a body. It is faulty valve, and he sees it in most saline breast implants. My model was one of them.

I got them out, and blood work improved immedidatly. I no longer am reacting, the fungus and myco's tooka while to treat and get out but are gone now. Im not made of bread, fungus doesnt grow all over your body for no reason. I never took antibiotics my whole life, until explanted .So the antibiotics didnt cause it either. My proof? Well, it took almost 7 hours to the gross implants out of my chest, as my capsules were running down my ribcages, runny, red and infected. It was supossed to take only 2-3 hours. And I have gotten better.

Another thing, if you get them and dont get ill,(russion roulette ) you must be ready for upkeep, more surgeries, rupturing, and more money. More time off from work. Another thing, I work in Insurance- some(almost all in the future will do this) and insurance companies are getting very smart. They are putting clauses, exclusions in their policies to exclude all auto immune illnessses and any removal or deformity that is due to implants. Insurance compaines know full well, their patients get ill, yet the implants manufacters dont admit this. Funny? Isnt it? And good luck suing, if you get ill/Watch Brocovich, thats us. The manufacters are too big.

So be prepared , if you get ill to pay big time, and could lose your insurance. And say you dont want to reimplant , one ruptures? Most do by the 8 year mark. Now, you will most likey need a lift, as your breast have been made deformed, and stretches out from them.More $$, more heartache. I am not even going to go there, on what we know will happen to children born to implanted mothers. Dont plan on breastfeeding. There isnt any evidence yet. It is too soon..

Just some thoughts, and I am glad to answer them. Any more, and I dont mind! (BTW- I am only 29, and have never been sick a day in my life, until implanted.)

Heres my take on it: Run, . I wish I had. Love- julie
