You mentioned you drove home after the surgery -- what about drains? Didn't you have those? I've heard that can take days until you can get those out.

Yes, I had drains for about 11 days. (should have been shorter, but I kept filling the bags, so I was told to wait until I was below a certain amount of fluid) I had worked it out prior to surgery to have Dr Mercola remove the drains once I came home to IL, when ready -according to Dr Kolb. They were in contact regarding this, and she was on the phone with him, when he was removing them. You can ask your doctor, or call a PS in your area for removal, to see if they will do it, if it is a burden to stay out of state- as it was for me. I couldnt have left my little guy, and cats at home with family, while I was in Atlanta Georgia for 11 more days! Worked out wonderfully .Dr Mercola was estatic to be a part in severing my "tie to implants". He said he was honored to do it, and anyway he could help, he would. He did realy good, I mean, it is quite simple. Love

Drains really depend on your body and how much fluid you put out. I

put out allot of fluid and had to wait almost 7 days to be able to

get them out, others have the drains only a few days. I think

may have had hers taken out by another Dr if I remember correctly.

at any rate I think Dr Feng will do a fabulous job and that you will

be very happy with her work.
