Guest guest
Dear , I just wanted you to know that autoimmune diseases from saline implants are very real. I was seriously ill from neurological complications from my saline implants. If you go to the " files tab " on the left nav, then to " implant and explant stories " , look under Beth. All implants are silicone, filled with either saline or silicone gel. And there are many other chemicals that go into the mix. I think Patty has that info some where. Heavy metals are also used as a catalyst. If you look under my photos, Beth, you will see a hair analysis which was done after I had my explant. I had 95% tin toxicity, which my doctor says was tin leaking from the implants, the most probable cause of my neurological problems. Today I am mostly better, but am still struggling with symptoms of MS (tested negative). It is very hard work to get your health back. It is impossible to predict who will get sick. Certain genetic types seem to play a factor as well as proper liver function. You can get more information at http://www.plastikos.com, scroll down to the middle table and look at the silicone newsletters. The same symptoms also apply to the salines. I understand your reasons for wanting to get them; mine were the same. What hurts me is when plastic surgeons do not give true informed consent, which includes information about autoimmune illness. I know that many of our doctors recommended on this board give true informed consent and also do full medical workups before implanting. Also, please consider what would happen if you do have a reaction to them? Does your plastic surgeon know how to perform " en bloc " removal, or does this mean you will be spending another $7000 to get them removed? Implants were never meant to last a lifetime, regardless of what they tell you. You must plan on additional surgeries at some point, and in the end, you must decide if it's worth it. I wish you would consider a lift. Many of our recommended surgeons are simply amazing at what they can do with what you already have! Feel free to email me personally if you have any questions, bethlakey@... Best wishes and good luck, Beth
