Guest guest
, Sorry I missed that cellular thing. How does one check for that--which test? I feel stiff as a board today...... Yes, my scars were very wide and had railroad tracks all over--areolos included. I had one corrective surgeries and will need 1-2 more. Now it just looks like I've had a breast reduction--with an anchor cut. The next surgery will be removal of more tissue, more scar excision and reduction of the areola. The PS says I will look normal--but with an anchor reduction(as opposed to a more modern breast lift(he does not do anchor reductions lifts--doesn't like them). It sux but things could be worse. At least he was willing to help me unlike that creep in Denver. You are lucky though. I think your breasts really look great. Anyway, thanks for the info. Let me know more about this doc in Indy. I'll e-mail you. Are you on any omega's? I know what you are feeling, it drove me nuts to have such hair loss. The lift was a new thing, and worked well. I guess, its all what each woman will do the best with. Why have additional cutting, if you don’t need it? I am sorry about how badly you were explanted, and your scars. Are they very bad? Are you treating the scars with anything? Merderma helped me a lot, along with lots of vitamin E. (orally and on the incision) love Re: Re: Photos >Date: Tue, 22 Jun 2004 13:25:24 -0700 (PDT) > >: >Hi. Guest guest
LM, you are a trooper. I couldn’t even imagine. I thank you, I hope every thing turns out right for you, poor thing. Its bullsh**what happens to women with this whole implant mess. I will email you personally more on the thyroid thing tomorrow. I would however advise that you look into having a saliva essay done on all hormones and also thyroid for a closer look. (I send the links of the compant go through) Blood is helpful, but when it comes to hormones it only shows what is floating around, not what has been taken up in the last 48 hours. I have become quite a hormone expert, not to brag. Believe me, I wish I hadn't spent so many hours reading on all this crap. I have helped a lot of girls, and myself though, so I guess it’s a plus. I recently helped a girlfriend with hypoglycemia (as it is linked with thyroid issues) go on progesterone, and see my thyroid specialist to look into thyroid more, and insist on further, more in depth tests, and it was. She is on progesterone, and now thyroid meds, and the hypoglycemia is gone. My neighbors went off the pill (she was on for 15 years for extremly heavy periods) and also had large fibro cysts removed from breasts. She did a saliva, found she was estrogen dominant, as I suspected, and is off the pill, with no more lumpy breasts or heavy periods, and on progesterone. Lost like 10 pounds too. It just seemed no matter what thyroid hormone I took, it did not work, I continued to feel foggy, gain weight, and lose hair like mad. joint pain too, esp in hands and feet. Legs, too! Big time, like they are 500 pounds a piece. So I did a saliva essay, and was defiencent of progesterone , went on that, saw some improvements, went on flax oil ,saw some more, but it wasn’t until I saw Dr Manakas, who did a very in depth physical, like heart rate, reflexes, blood pressure, water retention spots, body temp, that he told me I needed higher dosages of t3 cytomel, and that the all natural pig thyroid or t4 was not enough. it had not been working at all for the last 3 years with me, despite my blood labs showing I was fine. He says he sees that a lot, as I was on thyroid, and was at the perfect levels, but he explained the blood was showing exactly what I was taking, but not what I was using. He saw me every month, and only went by metabolism indicators, moving me up small amounts each time, until I was glowing, no more joint pain, no more hair loss, lost 4 pounds, had a normal heart beat, ect. He said he does not go by blood work alone with thyroid, it is only a indicator. Not the full truths of what is going on, and in the future a lot of docs will be going this way. I will email you more personally. Perhaps talk on the phone, as it is so much easier to explain in person. If it is fibro, from what I have read, and seminars, and my symptoms matching fibro, in my opinion- I am telling you, it is probably thyroid related. They just cant see it yet. Not looking in the right places. Thats what happened to me, and I am so much better, finally getting a doctor to see, it wasn’t right. After three years of this crap. Dr Manakas, and Mercola (Although I would advise he is no thyroid expert) are great. Love julie Re: Re: Photos >Date: Tue, 22 Jun 2004 13:25:24 -0700 (PDT) > >: >Hi.
