Guest guest
I stayed at the cheapy hotel, super 8 or some crap, but I hear that allot of girls use the homestead suites and love it, so that would be my advice if you can to go there. They have kitchenettes and you can get the best food at the little deli down the street and also at the Whole Foods store, that is all healthy stuff, they have the best food there. I loved the area, it is upscale with tons of restaurants and shopping areas. As far as being able to walk around, I know we are all individual but I can tell you after the 2nd day I was up and even driving. My mom, bless her heart for going with me through this ordeal, her driving in the snow drove me nuts, and scared me, so I drove. We went everywhere, all the way to Canton Ohio on the 3rd day after surgery to see the NFL hall of fame. It was so fun. I have pics of that they are cool. I am wearing a big huge sweater and a trench coat, hee hee, to hide my drains. Since I ended up having to stay way longer than we had anticipated we went to downtown Cleveland and the Rock N Roll hall of fame too. I had such bad inflammation and embedded textured implants that I drained and drained over 100cc on my right breast for 6 days, it was amazing what came out of me. My body hated those things. At any rate yes I think after post op day one you can get about really well. I mean I was able to move around pretty good right after surgery too, but I just wanted to sleep, I took my pain meds on schedule so that it never got out of hand and slept like a baby for the first day. After that I was stir crazy. Don't worry your going to be fine, Dr Feng and her staff are amazing. Also didn't they send you a sheet with a listing of recomended hotels? I know some of them offered a reduction in rate if your a Feng patient. Don't stay at the super 8 unless your very desperate. It sucked, the place was not very nice and there were always people fighting in the other room. But I had no choice, I needed to save money and being stuck longer than I anticipated made that even more of an issue. Please let me know anything else I can help with ok?
