That is interesting because my belly button peircing is made of

titanium and it never ever got infected, where as allot of my friends

did. HOwever I would not want it in my chest.

I wonder why my body likes the titanium in my belly so much though.

Strange huh? MIss you tons cute girl!

I just don't understand why they cannot see that research into using

other methods such as growing our own tissue is what they should be

looking at now, not implanting these crappy defective devices into

people. Tissue can be grown in a petri dish for good-ness sakes and

there has got to be a way of making that into breast tissue that

girls like us could tolerate. I think that would be such a huge

breatkthrough ya know and think about how many people it would help!

I think the greedy PS's think it would be bad because then no one

would need to come in for all the endless complications and surgeries

to foolow your implantation

I do know that there are people that do well with some implanted

things. I work with a lady who is 63 and about ready to retire, she

is the most outgoing, totally young at hear woman I have every known,

for her age, she does stuff I would not even attemtp. She snow and

water skii's and four wheel drives, and rides bikes, motorcycles goes

dancing, all kind of wild stuff and she has had two hip replacements.

She has done fabulous, the only thing I notice since her surgery is

that she is losing her hair and that she gets allot more colds than I

remember she used to, but she says she feels fine and I have to

believe it by all the stuff traveling etc they do.

Anyhow though she has only had them 2 years, and her options were not

that good, she was almost in a wheelchair, so I can see why she did

the surgery.

It is hard for me sometimes to work on the ortho/surg floor because

we do all the joint replacements and stuff, but I love my job too.

I am rambling on like crazy here hee hee.

I am in a really happy mood. I am going to be so happy to be off work

tomorrow even though I have to work the whole weekend and the 4th of

July and 5th as well. Life is good and despite some pain I find that

the busier I stay the less it gets me down!
