Guest guest
I am struggling with my vaginal infections again. I had it under control, until a few weeks ago, I had a bad yeast infection. It appears to be better, but I still have itching and burning . I think it is a bacterial infection now. Is there anything NATURAL that I can do to get rid of this, or do I NEED to use the vaginal antibiotic creme(which I have used before). I started eating raw garlic a few days ago, but am thinking this needs meds? I don't know, maybe it is vulvadynia??? I went to a new gyn, he looked at me and did a vaginal swab, and said I had no infection. He rolled his eyes when I told him that a few months ago when I saw him, I took the Nizoral and got sick from it. So this time, he is like, oh, your swab is normal, there is nothing I can do for you. " in other words beat it " , and don't come back? I need to get my hands on the Diflucan, for some reason, that keeps things at bay! Sorry to be talking about this gross stuff. Any advice out there. If I could get rid of the gyn problems, and hair loss at this point, I can deal with the rest of these symptoms. It is putting a damper on my sex life for sure! thanks......hugs TERRY
Guest guest
Terry, Grapefruit seed extract is anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-viral. My son had loads of bacteria in his blood the first time we had the live cell analysis. He took the grapefruit seed extract (fifteen drops in grapefruit juice three times a day) and on the second blood you could see that it was all gone! If you take it in grapefruit juice you can't taste the bitterness as much. Good Luck, Anita any natural remedys to kill a l bacteria infection? I am struggling with my vaginal infections again. Guest guest
I keep reading about infections of one kind or another here. Are these infections that common among implanted women? How do you know you have them? I don't have any itching or burning... but about six months ago I noticed that I have a different odor. Not really strong...just very different. No discharge etc... Sorry if this is too gross for everyone. And it is primarily around the time of menstruation or after intercourse for a couple of days. About a year and a half ago, when I went in for thyroid testing, I had a paracitology profile done and it revealed a slightly elevated yeast, but not candida. And a high Klebsiella. . Guest guest
- teresa It does sound like vulvadynia. I started out the same way. Kept thinking I had yeast infections but nothing helped. Finally my gyne told me there was nothing he could do for me. That is when I found the Vulvadynia Foundation. Their website is www.vulvarpainfoundation.org. I joined and they have a lot of good info on vulvadynia and fibromyalgia. Did you know that over 40% of women with vulvadynia also have fibromyalgia? I have talked to the leader of the group many times and she is very knowledgeable. I think they are able to help most people to a great degree who try some of the protocols. At any rate one thing that really helped me was using oral nystatin powder as a douche. I used it several times a week. I used a tsp per quart of water. It has to be oral nystatin and it is a yellow powder. It is extremely mild yet controlled low levels of candida in the vagina. It allowed me to regain my life. I also cut out high oxalate foods especially pepper, soy and chocolate. I can eat most of those foods again except if I start peppering things I feel it act up more. I think these methods are much preferable than using stronger more irritating meds. At least it was for me. Everyone is different! Guest guest
Hi Rogene, Yes the test was specific for Candida. I guess it isn't the only yeast in the body that can "over-grow". One of my children's teachers' had a very bad systemic yeast infection a couple of years ago...not candida either, but it almost killed her. She had multiple problems for many years, and finally she ended up in the hospital. Confused and unable to get up. It took quite awhile to diagnose it, I think she was in there for close to three weeks. She is doing well now, lost alot of weight and feels good. She cannot have any fruit or simple sugars though, and carbos to a minimum as a result. She can have meat and raw veggies and thats about it. Many of the moms in the class gossiped about her alot, with regards to wether or not she had implants...because she certainly had size and unusual firmness. I would suspect that she does. She doesnt look any different now, in that department though, so I guess her body has learned to live with it. I have read some about Candida and it sounds very troublesome. I wonder if other strains of yeast are as difficult to deal with? Aprilc.
