Guest guest
Dear Friends: I had my implants removed a year ago. My hair still falls out and I really do not know if the source of my problems were the implants. But I do not want to go through the pain of another surgery or risk any future problems. I must say I liked the way I looked with them and hate they what I look without. I went to dinner sat. with fiance and 3 other couples. All three of the other women had implants. I felt like I looked really odd. I am extremely flat chested an A cup. Just wanted to share with my friends.
Guest guest
Dear , Was hair loss your only symptom? Did you have anthing else that was going on that made you feel crappy with implants? Have you had NO improvement whatsoever since removal? I am asking all these questions because usually when there is NO improvement at all, then you have to start wondering if you went to a good Doc who removed all the stuff, etc etc. Did you go to one of the recomended surgeons? Did they say that they had seen your situation and that it might take up to a year or 2 before your symptoms improved? Have you had thyroid tests to check on your thyroid hormones to see if there is a problem there? How about any other blood work? Have you done any detoxing? Do you work out daily? Do you eat well and a mostly raw organic diet? Have you been tested for food allergies as well? Candida also can be an issue. I am pretty sure Terry, who was very very ill, still has hair loss as an issue, and I still can tell you I shed more than average, though I don't notice my hair looking thin, it looks thick, it just sheds more than normal off and on. Did your hair look better in the winter? Summer months are def worse for shedding. I know your in Florida right? Did you ever see Dr Vasey? I know he is an excellent rheumatologist in your area that would probably be super helpful for you. There could be so many things from the implants that your hair loss issues may take allot time to fix. , if your reading this please help us out cause I know your hair was bad for awhile there and you got it to stop, but then you do an intense diet and detoxing program. how long did you have those implants in you? You may have a parasite or mycoplasm problem left behind from them. Something is def holding back your healing. I am really curious to know what if any other symptoms you had. If hair loss was the only one, it is possible it was not the implants, but I doubt it. Also even if by some freaky chance it was not the implants, they are toxic bags of hell that have damaged many lives, so getting new ones would be a totally crazy thing to do and it sounds like as much as you miss the way you looked with them your already smart enough not to get new ones. Personally I would have a hard time hanging around a few women with implants all the time, now if the boobs are big and real, (like my new very close friend) it does not bother me at all, I have a tiny boob envy of course, but I just figure I am thinner and fitter, and that is cool, I have the athletic look and that works out well for me. I think working out would be a good idea of course to get your body fit, firm etc. The next thing I would do is invest in some chicken cutlet looking flesshy things that you can stick in a pocket bra and wear those the next time your out with your fiance and these implanted women. If that really makes you uncomforatable you can have the option of a nice padded bra, but realistically the enhancers will make you look allot bigger and if your really wanting just a bit of a curvier look they help allot. I like mine and my husband knows and totally supports me wearing them, he says it is just another fashion accesory. We are just women, none of us are perfect but we were made in gods image, we are a thing of beauty. I do not know who your dr was, I cannot remember, in fact I want to say I think it was Feng, but I cannot recall maybe it was someone else. Did she do a lift? Many are so happy after a lift but some still are not. Lifts do shrink the size a tiny bit, due to the tightening and that can make you flatter. I def had more skin before the lift, but that is exactly all it was, skin, not breast tissue and it was ugly and gross. Anyhow I don't believe for a second that your implants were not your problem, I just believe that for whatever reason your body has not healed itself yet. Something is standing in the way of your healing and you may have a long road ahead of you in terms of doing more cleansing work, enemas, colonics, cleanses like Cricket was talking about. There are many things that really will help. I would get some more labs and see where things are at with your thyroid. Also if you had any other labs that were funny, ana or anything have them rechecked to see if they have come down. I know the hairloss thing is overwhelming, so I can related to that, been through it. But if your other symptoms have gotten better than the hair thing may be your last little issue, I know for me my last little issue has been my heel pain. I can get it to go into a dormant or remission but it always comes back, that is why I have decided I must need more cleanisng and detoxing, there has to be an answer for us both on these last symptoms. Anyhow i know this was a long email i am just trying hard to get a better grasp of your situation, of where your coming from, and of what is exactly going on as far as your health. If i remember correctly you did have other stuff going on too so I am curious how much of your issues had gone away since your explant. if you can find the time to read all my questions and answer them that would be so awesome. I don't believe that everthing we see is exactly as it looks, such as the two women you dined with that seem fine. Maybe right now they are maybe they will go off into the sunset and always be that way, but my guess is they will problems eventually too. Not all women will admit it, will connect it, or will ever ever remove the implants period, so that is something that we all have to accept. We all were led to this place for a reason, I know I was. I met Patty before this site even existed and argued and begged and new in the back of my head that yes, it had to be the implants, but I hung in there trying to make it work for 18 moths, and ya know what, they just are not for me. I know that and as much as I would love a fuller breast, I am more concerned with being fit and healthy and happy. I love my looks, I am a total girlie girl, I love make up clothes, jewelry, tanning, all the girlie things, so to give up my girlie bust was hard, but I like myself and I want to live a good life for the next 30 40 whatever many years on this earth not concerned about two time bombs in my chest. My very own flesh and blood sister decided to risk all that health and beauty and stregnth that most 50 year old women don't have, to have those damn silicone boobs, and so far after a year and a half she believes she is out of the wooods. I believe that her time has yet to come and that when it does, she probably will not admit it is the implants and will just blame it on aging. At 50 or 52 or 55 that will be easy to do I guess. Anyhow I think I have spoke enough, I know my emails go on and on sometimes, but I have lots of thoughts on this topic and that is why I do that. I want you to get better and I believe you can and will. hang in there ok? Love PS try to email me or write back on the group so that I know more about your situation. we can and will always be here for you girlie. you did the right thing with explant, you had textured implants and I remember you were having allot of problems. I have to believe at least some of them went away. ok let me know I will keep you in my prayers. love Ok as far as for appearance sake In , mmdamaria@a... wrote: > Dear Friends: > > I had my implants removed a year ago. Guest guest
That is right, your inner stregnth will be important ever step of the way. However not everyone has implants, it depends on where you live but don't be fooled, allot of us wear falsies and you would never know the difference. honestly boobs are just boobs, they are not that important, work on your figure with weights and exercise, you don't need to do much of anything else. hugs In , PACCOAST@a... wrote: > You must pull from within I guess - some kind of inner strength. Guest guest
You didn't tell me your symptoms other than hair loss, do you have any thing at all that has gotten better since removal? ANYTHING AT ALL? I do think the hair thing can be caused by implants, and i do think it can go away. Maybe you need more detoxing. I know you went to a great Dr so I know that part of it is not the problem, thank god. I think that if you give your body more time and more nutrients etc, you will get better. It is still relatively early I swear for me 18 months to 2 years were my biggest turning point. I pray will see this and have some tips for you because she had the hair loss and got rid of it and I know you too can. i am here for you, I hate being around allot of implanted women too, and now in two more days I will be with my sister who I am trying to make peace with, and frankly having your own family have implants i would take 10 friends with them rather than my own sister anyday. She is convinced she will never have a problem. I am not so sure. Either way, I know that I DID and some of us just cannot have implants. there is so much more to you than your breasts. Please don't envy those women with implants, they may seem fine, trust me I went to work everyday and seemed fine too. In fact one day a nurse was so funny I was really feeling bad and she told me how she was jealos of me cause I looked so healthy and had a nice tan and I thought to myself SH*t I am dying and your telling me I look healthy. No one ever would have guessed i was dying inside. TRUST ME WE DON " T KNOW WHAT THOSE WOMEN ARE GOING THROUGH, many have issues they do not share with us, esp mere aquaintances, look at me it took me 3 years to tell one person here in Idaho. I admit I have an advantage of living in a conservative mostly mormon town where there are not many implants, but I go to Ca and see tons of them. We may not be the majority , but who knows, no one studies this stuff so we don't know for sure. try some more detoxing and cleansing. keep fighting your gonna get better PS are you trying Nioxin hair care products? They really work. I feel the key can be malabsorption too, as my friends at work that have had the gastric bypass lose tons of there hair due to not absorbing nutrients correctly. Many of them have to take B12 shots. In fact if you need some B12 to inject I have a few bottle I will send you some. You will need to get syringes and I don't know if you can buy them over the counter in Florida. If not I can send you those too. I have a huge bottle I am happy to share. You just shoot it in your thigh or butt muscle. send me your address or phone number on my email if you want it I will send it out right away, the syringes I will have to buy so let me know. It might be helpful to you. ok honey anything I can do to help you name it. hugs In , mmdamaria@a... wrote: > : > > Thank you for writing back. You words are very encouraging. Guest guest
April, hi and welcome to the site. I am sorry for your sickness and for what your going through, your not going to like what I am going to say but frankly if you don't find a way to get the implants out, nothing will really help with the symptoms. They may wax and wain like all autoimmune diseases, but the cold hard truth is that you most likely are going to continue to get sicker. I am sorry that your son is ill, is this related to your illness do you think(From breastfeeding)? Anyhow I need to be blunt with you, so excuse me, I am not being mean, but there are options that you can look at. Do you have a credit card? Do you have a house you can get a loan on? Family that will help you with explant? Have you talked to Kolb or Mehlmed about financial coverage? Do you have any insurance? Sometimes some Dr's can get this stuff approved. Where there is a will there is usually a way, and sometimes we get so caught up we don't even see it. My Dr is who I mostly will recomend but in your case, you probably would not be able to afford her and she is not the best one as far as getting things covered. I wish she was cause she does beauiful work, but hey there are others and they do nice work and some of them really know how to work the insurance system to get this stuff covered. Of course the lift and anything above and beyond merely explanting will not be covered however, it sounds like your sick and i worry that you will not get well and may deteriorate more and more the longer you leave them in. What if they are full of fungus and chunks of infectious material like Shari's and others on this site? You cannot leave those in there, it is the equivilent of leaving an abcessed tooth in your mouth, the repercutions are too scary and you mention your son and frankly I emphasize with you on this that if your too sick to be a mom what kind of life will he have? His health is obviously important but trust me, my illness ruined my relationship with my young daughter and it very well can end up destroying everything around you. Illness gets difficult to live with on a day to day thing, after awhile people that you never thought would let you down, will grow weary. Esp if we don't take a chance at getting well. Personally having been there, I know that nothing has ever made any one that I have EVER heard of better other than first getting the implants out, then trying all the detoxing and working at it seems to be the only option to get well. There are Dr's that are less expensive, you can forgo the lift, if you have to. But the implants need to go. Vitamin B12 does not do much for someone with autoimmune disease, but I did recomend it for who has already been explanted, to help her hair get better. It takes time after explant to get well again and hard work. Some of us that just reacted to the shell tend to find health quickly again, others it can literally take a few years, but usually you will feel better soon. I mean better, not cured within a few months. It is amazing how much most of us feel and look better without the big fake breasts too. If you check out our files and photo section on the webstie you will learn allot and see that no one is deformed from explant and that most of us look fine. In fact allot of us look better. I don't want to seem harsh, but the truth is once you start reacting to the implants, it is pretty difficult if not impossible to shut off that reacting. Most of the time it will continue to go on and eventually you will end up with a full blow autoimmune disease often times, like I was heading for. I know trust me, when that blood work started coming up positive that was enough for me. Please please April try to find a way, get creative, is there something you can sell? Someone who would loan you the money. I think Mehlmed will only charge 4 or 5,000 and even Feng is not that much for just the explant portion maybe a few hundred over $5,000. Kolb gets peoples insurance to pay often times so that is another good one to look into. I am not sure about the others but there is a whole list of Drs that would and could be a good option for you. What state are you in? Please know I am not trying to be mean or negative, just having been there myself when I was like you, poor and feeling no way could I come up wtih the money let alone worried about how I would look, I nevre thoght I could get them out. I finally just was so ill with lupus looming large in my future that I had to suck it up and ask my parents to give me the $10,000 to get the explant and lift. It was hard, but it turned out to be the best thing I ever did for myself. Anyhow please try to think about this. I know allot of women who were set on keeping the implants for these very same reason and they found ways to get them out. I pray you will take time to think about and consider the options. I will be happy to help you find a Dr that will work for you. Let me know where you live etc. Again my name is and I am one of the several moderators on this site. I had implants for 18 months and became extrmely il and was about to be diagnosed with lupus when I decided enough was enough. I was a single mom living in a double wide trailer and making $14 bucks an hour in California, and I found a way to get them out and now I am doing so much better, got remarried and moved to Idaho. My life is completely different now for the better. I never new I would be able to do the things I have accomplished over the last few yers since explant and I am extrmely proud of myself for the stregnth and willingness i had to listen to others and do what I had to do to get those bombs out of me. As for vitamins, some might help you at least to keep your body getting proper nutrients, but as for a miracle cure, I have not heard of a single one yet. I am sure that no one else here has either, or we would have shared it by now. please try to pray about this and how this can happen for you. Make some calls, get some price ranges, again do you have insurance etc etc. there are options for you girl and we are all here for you and would like to be able to help anyway we can. if you ever need to talk also we can talk on the phone or via email. let me know ok, sorry if I seem harsh I just hate to see you get sicker. love and blessings In , Aprilcupcake@a... wrote: > HI, I'm new to this group and topic...but, my hair started to fall out about > two years > ago....most of it occured in a single afternoon. > I had saline implant surgery in 1995.
