I’m forwarding this electronic

newsletter and ask if others have come across similar versions in their own

areas. It seems like a very good idea to help spread positive talk about

health visiting. Congratulations to Janette for being the hero of the month.

Visiting Monthly

February 2012,

Issue 1

In

February 2011, the Department of Health published the Health Visitor

Implementation Plan 2011-15 – A Call to Action. This

outcomes in the early years for children, families and their communities,

through expanding and strengthening health visiting services, with an

extra 4,200 health visitors in post by April 2015.

Health

Visiting Monthly supports the implementation of this commitment by

sharing information on progress and good practice across the North West.
