Guest guest
, I know that we always warn women that it may get worse before it gets better, so while it is upsetting it is totally normal. I was worse when I got back from Ohio for quite awhile, in fact my blood work even got higher and freaked me out so bad. I am not sure who your surgeon was or what he did, did he or she do the total capsulectomy etc? That is of all importance, now if all that was done right, then don't stress your totally normal. It is not going to go away overnight for most of us. Sometimes they put decadron in your IV and that is why some girls have this big time rush of feeling so good only to crash when it wears off. It takes time and hard work to get better after explant, and some things may be worse for awhile. For me I got slowly better, but then would get a flare for awhile and think whey did I even get rid of the boobs. At one point I made an appt to consult to put them back in, ha ha what a joke that is seeming like now. Anyhow I just know what your experienceing is totally normal. you just had a major surgery and if they had to scrape you your gonna be sore for a while. For me the first things to go were the horrible brain fog and dizziness, the last things were the pain. I was ok with that cause at least the pain I could take something for, the brain stuff was the worse thing for me. I am telling you girl 12 days is WAY TOO SOON TO PANIC, it took me about 18 months to be able to say I am really 99% better. Today at over 3 years I am totally normal with only some heel pain and a bit of stiffness in the am's. That is ok I can live with that compared to what I had before. Do we ever get rid of every little thing? Maybe and maybe not, I know I consider myself normal cept the pain in the am and the heel pain. So I think I am doing good. All my labs are normal my dizzyness gone fatigue is gone, I am a ball of energy as you can probably tell from my long and happy posts hee hee. Anyhow girl this is a good place to come to in the weeks ahead to get support and share this stuff, you will always feel better to know what your going through is totally normal. I am here for ya and if you need to vent or talk just write. if you need to have a friend to call I will be in CA for 11 days after tomorrow but you can call my cell if you need help. 208-589-6323 I know what your going through and trust me this is def the worse part, it gets better. Guest guest
- Hang in there. You will get better. Everyone is different. Some get better quickly. Some not. Some feel initially better than worse again. Some feel better and stay that way. Some feel worse, then better. IT is way too soon to judge your healing path. I had one symptom get better right away, but the rest I have struggled with to various degrees over the past almost 3 years. I had saline imlplants for 11 years. I am doing much better but still fight symptoms that get better than bother me again. There are so many things you can do to improve your health that there is no reason to be discouraged. I know you would like to be better right away, but it often doesn't work that way. Keep up with this site. You will find lots of good info and great support and friendship! Guest guest
Dear , this is totally normal. I actually got worse after explant, it like stirs everything up, weakens your system. I got a rash from walking in the sun. Odd things, but I was really getting better. You're in the roughest time right now. too soon to really walk around and feel well. Give yourself another week or two even two months and you'll be walking and feeling great. You'll have to take charge of your detox and you'll feel great. YOur body just went through a shock, and coming off pain meds. I've known people to need the pain meds for a few months after surgery. give yourself a break. You're going to be a star, and help others, just you wait and see. As soon as you can walk do so but I'd stay out of the sun. Did you ever have a positive ANA? My labs actually got worse right after explant but then they are totally negative now. God Bless you, You'll be feeling better very soon, and like the other women said it does wax and wane, and it was definately the implants making you ill, this is the best thing. You're lucky they did not rupture. You'll come out smelling like roses, promise, Ask God for some of His loving spirt to fill you with peace. Sleep tight and let Him take care of you.
