Guest guest
Hmmm, I wonder where that email came from??? There is no approval process for joining ! You just sign up and start getting mail and can send it too, with no approvals going on. There are a few letters that come out to welcome you to the group...but those are letters that are orchestrated to go out from and the moderators of this group. There has never been a letter that tells anyone they are not approved!! Sounds like another game our detractors are playing to keep our numbers from getting too big...just keep writing and let us know how we can help you. I know of a few nice places to eat there too, and along the way down. There is one place that serves the grass fed hormone free beef and buffalo meat, it is pure heaven, and of course those scones! YUMMY! Anyhow if you come to SLC LM maybe we can hook up with Shirley and anyone else who is out this way and do dinner or something. That would be a blast. I am only 3 hours north of SLC. Guest guest
Hi -Marie: Yes, UT is a great place if it weren't for the construction crews working on the roads all the time. Keeps people working, I guess. I'm actrually from CA and visiting family here for several months. However, I did live here for quite awhile years ago before my divorce. My implant story...well, it I started out with Silicone...had to have one side replaced after 6 months due to hardening. In 1994, a MRI detected leakage on both sides, but at that time Dow did not consider that even close to a rupture. I didn't have the money to do anything...but actually I didn't think about any of this much until they ruptured. In the meantime, I have had rashes ( thought these were due to stress from the classes I was taking), hair loss, swallowing problems, joint pains, stiffness, and the worst is chronic swelling in my right angle and thigh. I don't know what that's from, but I can never again wear a skirt or dress. Plus, many other things were going, on such as fatigue and weight gain etc. So, in 1999, one side just dropped and hung...however, this didn't show with an underwire bra...while I was waiting for an appointment to see a PS the other side dropped. So, not being on the internet and not researching much of anything I was explanted and replaced with saline. Although, I had told the surgeon that I didn't want anything else implanted, he said that he didn't know if that was possible...later he said that he had to take out most of my breast tissue because of the silicone leakage. And as I said...not doing my homework I didn't ask to have the implants saved...Cedars Sinai in LA threw them away. The hospital pathologist did take two slides...he should have taken 5 or 6. Anyway, I had the slides tested and it showed that silicone has migrated throughout my body. But, I guess the moral to the story is that one needs to get as much information as you can before making any major decision. Guest guest
Hi ... Yes, it is crowded compared to when I lived here before. I remember that Sandy, UT was full of dirt roads when we first moved here from AZ. Yes, we should all get together...you know more places here than I do. My sons and I usually just go to the Golden Corral...which is a total pig out buffet. So, not too good. Where is this harmone free beef place? That sounds so healthy. Just to give you some idea...I will probably be the senior in this group...all my children are grown and I am a grandmother and great-grandmother. Take care and yes, I had forgotten all about Lava Hot Springs. Have fun on your trips and say hello to CA for me.
