Guest guest
It is called peripheral neuropathy. I have it also. I have found it is affected by what I eat, but don't think that causes it. Hormones can make it worse. Being fatigued can make it worse. But especially sugar, starches, etc. can make it flare. Guest guest
Oh yeah I meant to add that it can def be caused by hormones, Lynda is right on there, Hormones play a huge role in our illness and symptoms. I read a great article about autoimmune disease in a magazine the other night and it mentioned hormones being suspected in why so many more women than men get autoimmune problems. The only thing that made me curious is why on earth they don't look at the connection betweent that and implants! ARG , Lynda <coss@p...> wrote: > It is called peripheral neuropathy. Guest guest
-Cricket I get that also. It comes and goes. I hadn't had it in a really really long time and then just recently it started up on my hand between my thumb and index finger. Feels like a burn and sore to the touch. It comes and goes. It can make you nuts. Years ago it used to be a spot on my back. I really have never felt it was anything to be concerned about. I have read that it is common with fms. Do you have fibromyalgia? Guest guest
hey there!! I hope you are feeling better now - I have had a hard time lately geting caught up on my mail since the whole interview and subsequent flares.... I have over 600 messages still and am trying to read them all. I feel bad that I haven't been able to respond to you faster!! I have had the skin burning thing but not lately or nearly as bad as you have described. Maybe it is just a little flare or a chunk of the nasty stuff has worked itself into your system again? I hope you are better soon!!! love shari
