Guest guest
selves.... Ive been working too hard, have to, need the money to pay back for surgeries and being behind on bills.... but like most of you all know, I was a fast healer, and am still doing great, but ive noticed that after the workweek, I collapse and get the all over pain again til I sleep at least 12 hours a day for the next two days off... I tend to deny my illness and think and tell everyone its gone, but the truth is, I think my body will always be more sensitive and weaker for awhile.... just a note, to all.... just take good care of yourselves!!!!!!!!!!! Love you all, and you are all in my prayers, Iggy PS'as soon as I finish nursing school I can take it easy again, and my body will thank me! Guest guest
Iggy I just want to tell you that I would not let my body get too run down or you could really have problems. You mention when your done with nursing school you will rest. I hope you will try to rest in between. I know your anxious to be a nurse, as I am also however, I decided that this semester I am sitting out. I just have this preminition that right now I need to rest a bit. I am working tons and along with exercise, travel, kids etc, I know my body needs a break. Much as I hate to do it, what is one semester if it means my health? I am doing some serious detox stuff when I get back from California in the end of July in celebration of turning 40 years old on August 2nd this year. I want to just be good to myself and I can always go to school, but I cannot always rest or take care of myself. Don't push too hard girl or you just might crash. I believe in pushing to a certain extent and always have, hence my 2 hour workout sessions etc, but there is a point where you need to take time for yourself. It sounds like your body is teling you something, and I would listen. Dont let yourself get sick again. Your lucky you got better so fast and of course with your going to a great Dr I am sure had alot to do with it, but don't take it all for granted either. take caution and take care of yourself first and foremost. Nursing school can be exausting. I don't think I can do it full time while working full time and frankly right now I need to work full time. lucky for me I love my job as a secretary and have allot of good friends at work and they all eat healthy like me. We all eat our little veggies everyday at lunch heehee. I am trying hard to take care of myself right now, I don't want to relapse and pushing too hard can do just that. anyhow, don't mean to preach just concerned with the sound of your email. Don't try to deny your illness, it can come back to bite you. hugs In , " iggyangel7 " <iggyangel@c...> wrote: > selves.... Guest guest
Iggy CArrie is right. Please don't stress out too much. Stress takes a terrible toll on your health. You have been through too much pain already before explantation to take a dive now. You are right about one thing. Your body will always be more sensitive. I don't think we ever get to the point of being exactly like we were before we got ill. Rogene and Patty both would share that they still have to follow very carefully all of these measures they know to help them to keep from having a relapse in symptoms. But when taking good care of ourselves we can feel really normal.
