SOUNDS GOOD! Let's do it! I pretty much don't have sugars only what is naturally in fruit. Don't eat white bread/rice but once in a while. I'm on my ALL BRAN every day--lol!

I plan on trying to do a really light detox at first time and then work into more serious stuff later. I would never ever tell anyone not to eat, in fact the detox I plan on doing involves lots of food just no junk, no sugar, no white bread or pasta that type of crapola. I mostly eat that way now, but I want to get stricter. I agree with your being so thin you don't want to diet, this would be more of an elimination than a diet. I think in your case you could also find ways of adding more fat and calories with things like olive and coconut oils, lots of salmon and fatty fish meats and things like that.I also want to do some cleansing but I am afraid of the enemas, I will try them though, just not on a weekly regimine like some do, I have heard to much about infection and possible punture of the bowel, but I do believe once in awhile

it could be a good thing.I am doing some research into an article in the August Self magazine, they had a detox plan in there that was very much something I think you and I would like as it is not too strict and not too many supps and things.Try to check it out on www.self.comhugsPS as for legnth of time like I said I think it is kind of an ongoing thing. In , Jane Doe wrote:> :> Hi Dear! Hi again Kathy.

My insuline is not high at all. To be blantantly honest, I could not poop if I went without ALL BRAN. I never get tummy aches after injesting wheat. I would like to get tested for this however.

This leaky gut thing--what is that? I'm dubious of trendy diseases but I would like to learn what I can.

Thanks!!!

LMI noticed that you said that you were taking all bran. YOu might want to consider dropping gluten out of your diet. First, Dr. Mercola is really convinced that grains are not good for us. They contribute to high insulin levels and many people don't tolerate them well. I was tested for gluten sensitivity and found to have a fairly high antibody count to them. In otherwords, my body produces antibody to attack gluten which is found in wheat, rye, oats, barley. Have you ever heard of celiac disease? That is a gluten intolerance. Celiac disease can cause many autoimmune symptoms and can be serious. Have you ever heard of leaky gut/malapsorbtion syndrome? Gluten intolerance can lead to that. If I were you I would cut all gluten out of your diet for at least a month to see if you notice any change in your symptoms. I know it can be hard

because it means cutting out bread and cereal, but it may very well be something that is affecting you. Apparently 3 million have gluten intolerance and don't even know it! Digestive problems are very common with implantees, it was one of the first

symptoms I had.

I also do not seem to have a problem with wheat. But I eat muesli, which

has 9 grams of fiber per serving. And fruit with it. Mostly berries. My

insulin is low, but I did have hypoglycemia when I was really ill. I look

for cereal which has at least 7 grams of fiber per serving. I personally

do not like all-bran or bran cereals. Yuck! But some seem to like them

and do well with them.

Leaky gut is not trendy, it has been around for ages. It is not as

uncommon as one might think. You can research it on the internet, probably.

Hmmmm, where in the world did this idea that a colonic could cause you to have a colostomy come from???????

For those who do it correctly, there is no danger. The tube only is inserted an inch or so into the rectum, and with lubrication, it just slides in. I am sure some people have been untrained and have punctured themselves, but I don't think that happens with properly trained people doing the colonics.

Colonics have been around for centuries. I have absolutely no qualms about them whatsoever.

Kathy your right to be nervous, this could potentially be dangerous, I would find out from a MD if possible where they would suggest you go to. Or if you can get to a good Dr like Mercola he might steer you in the right direction. Be cautious there are allot of things that can go wrong with this type of treatment, it is risky and has plenty of bad side effects that can happen.I would like to try a colonic but I too am nervous knowing as much as I do about the chances of infection and injury and frankly I don't want a puncture in my colon, you could end up wearing a colostomy bag the rest of your life. THAT IS GROSS AND SCARY.hugs__________________________________________________

Nor do I, when the practitioner is well-trained and the clinic is properly

maintained. There is so much fear about the unknown. Education does a lot

to change this.

Lm, I had leaky gut found on my live blood cell. It is when your intenstonal wall has been permiated by either food allergiers, parasites or toxins, (has holes in it) and are leaking proteins and food particles throughout your body and into your blood. My blood had food particles in it on my live cell. Not good. That causes your body to say"What is this!?" and react, and attack your own body. It is believed to be one of the main triggers to cause auto immnue illnesses, and has been widely known to do so for decades.Thats why you want to eliminate food allergies and go on a parasite cleanse to make sure you got that storng "gut wall"

People think that all this gut stuff is non sense/ But did you know that your gut has as many nerves and highways of them as the brain, and it lights up simular to your breain when under stress? ever notice how you get a tummy ache when under stress ?Or how when you dont eat, you get a headache, or feel sick? They say the gut is your second brain, and with an unhealthy one, you will not function properly.Throws the whole body off ...

I poked my poopshoot and it bleed and I had an infection(I poked an internal "roid" too (gross). I was dependent on enmas and laxitives before I changed my diet.

When I changed my diet, I got cleaned out. You got to put the right things IN so things come OUT right--lol.naturalbeauty38 <naturalbeauty38@...> wrote:

Patty that is my point exactly, it has to be done correctly. I am not stupid and I don't make this stuff up, seriously, it could cause you this kind of problem if you went to a place that was unsanitary or that punctured your bowel it is a real risk, however slim. I know you feel strongly about these treatments and they are probably pretty safe, but risks need to be treated with honesty and this is a risk, however small.I am not making this up I promiseIn , Trish Trish wrote:> Hmmmm, where in the world did this idea that a colonic could cause you to have a colostomy come from???????> > For those who do it correctly, there is no danger.
