Guest guest
I plan on trying to do a really light detox at first time and then work into more serious stuff later. I would never ever tell anyone not to eat, in fact the detox I plan on doing involves lots of food just no junk, no sugar, no white bread or pasta that type of crapola. I mostly eat that way now, but I want to get stricter. I agree with your being so thin you don't want to diet, this would be more of an elimination than a diet. I think in your case you could also find ways of adding more fat and calories with things like olive and coconut oils, lots of salmon and fatty fish meats and things like that. I also want to do some cleansing but I am afraid of the enemas, I will try them though, just not on a weekly regimine like some do, I have heard to much about infection and possible punture of the bowel, but I do believe once in awhile it could be a good thing. I am doing some research into an article in the August Self magazine, they had a detox plan in there that was very much something I think you and I would like as it is not too strict and not too many supps and things. Try to check it out on www.self.com hugs PS as for legnth of time like I said I think it is kind of an ongoing thing. In , Jane Doe <oceanlilly_csu@y...> wrote: > : > Hi Dear! Guest guest
LM I noticed that you said that you were taking all bran. YOu might want to consider dropping gluten out of your diet. First, Dr. Mercola is really convinced that grains are not good for us. They contribute to high insulin levels and many people don't tolerate them well. I was tested for gluten sensitivity and found to have a fairly high antibody count to them. In otherwords, my body produces antibody to attack gluten which is found in wheat, rye, oats, barley. Have you ever heard of celiac disease? That is a gluten intolerance. Celiac disease can cause many autoimmune symptoms and can be serious. Have you ever heard of leaky gut/malapsorbtion syndrome? Gluten intolerance can lead to that. If I were you I would cut all gluten out of your diet for at least a month to see if you notice any change in your symptoms. I know it can be hard because it means cutting out bread and cereal, but it may very well be something that is affecting you. Apparently 3 million have gluten intolerance and don't even know it! Guest guest
yes you could get tested for gluten intolerance, and change around the fiber you get to just fiber from fruits and veggies. I know I am not gluten intolerant cause I did get that tested and for me the all bran or whole wheat works well to keep things moving. I eat tons of fruit too as the girls in SV will attest too, hee hee, our morning fruit bowls were huge ha ha. Anyhow I still avoid too much of wheat or empty carbs, but of course there are those brownies I ate on the 4th, shame on me. gotta live once in awhile, then the time comes when ya gotta clean up. The gluten test is a good one to have for sure. allot of people are def allergic to wheat, I am sure glad I am not one of them! hugs In , " mikat828 " <mikat828@y...> wrote: > LM > I noticed that you said that you were taking all bran. Guest guest
Patty that is my point exactly, it has to be done correctly. I am not stupid and I don't make this stuff up, seriously, it could cause you this kind of problem if you went to a place that was unsanitary or that punctured your bowel it is a real risk, however slim. I know you feel strongly about these treatments and they are probably pretty safe, but risks need to be treated with honesty and this is a risk, however small. I am not making this up I promise In , Trish Trish <harvest2harvest@y...> wrote: > Hmmmm, where in the world did this idea that a colonic could cause you to have a colostomy come from??????? > > For those who do it correctly, there is no danger. The tube only is inserted an inch or so into the rectum, and with lubrication, it just slides in. I am sure some people have been untrained and have punctured themselves, but I don't think that happens with properly trained people doing the colonics. > > Colonics have been around for centuries. Guest guest
I think once again my point was missed, this is not the " unknown " to me, I am warning women that they need to make sure they go to a reputable safe clean place. It is really simple. that is all. not trying to spook anyone. I can find a million articles that would say that they are unsafe just as many as we can find that say they are safe the internet is full of both sides of information. I just want people to take this seriously, it is not something to play around with. As I said if you go to a safe clean place then you are most likely going to be fine. take care In , Lynda <coss@p...> wrote: > Nor do I, when the practitioner is well-trained and the clinic is properly > maintained. Guest guest
So it showed up on the test huh? I was wondering about that stuff. So what do you do besides the parasite treatment to get rid of this problem? I am sure diet is important. WHat did you use to kill the parasties? I am looking into the stuff Cricket posted about. Did you see that post by any chance? What do you think of that stuff. I don't believe I have this, however i would like to try to do this stuff when i do this detox to see if I feel better or have more energy or sleep better or whatever. actually with me I have sometimes too much energy, so mainly I would like to sleep better. I hate not sleeping well. I have had this problem since before implants. Always was an insomniac. would love to get rid of that issue once and for all. take care In , " JOSEPH PALANCA " <juliejp61@m...> wrote: >
