Guest guest
, Don't panic. Your body has just gone through a whole lot of trama. It takes time. Have any of your symptoms gone away? I am 14 months out and just this last week had the burning skin thing going on. It took a least six months before I had better days than bad ones. Now most of my days are good. Hang in there and don't give up hope. You will get better. Just think of it as your body is really pissed off at you right now. Try to calm it down with espon salt baths and maybe get a massage. And you are going to have to start detoxing. The first one I did was a blood cleanse. That seemed to do wonders. Jim Brodsky said to cleanse the blood first and than do a liver cleanse, etc. one at a time. We are here with you and have all gone though it. You'll make it. Guest guest
It took me a couple of years, but detoxing did the trick. Lynda At 07:52 PM 7/12/2004, you wrote: >, > >Don't panic. Guest guest
, Please don't lose hope. That happened to me too. For 3 weeks after the surgery I felt fantastic. I was out doing things I hadn't done in years. I was at the mall almost every day Christmas shopping and doing tons of other stuff to prepare for our family get together. Then I crashed...I started feeling so bad I thought I was going to die. I almost regretted getting the implants out. I started questioning why I did what I did. I went into a deep depression and started sleeping all the time and just crying for hours at a time. I'm sure if I went back in the archives I could find some of my desperate posts! But, the good thing is...I'm now 7 months Post-Explant and I'm doing great. I still have pain, fatigue, brain fog, and some anxiety/depression issues, but they're nothing compared to what they were. I was taking antidepressants and so many meds I lost track of all of them. Now I'm only on pain meds and 1 xanax at night for sleep and I'm in the process of reducing the amount of pain meds I take. It does get better. Just hang in there. Your body is freaking out right now, but it will calm down. Keep drinking plenty of water and try to relax a bit. You will make it through! I'm praying for you. God will give you His strength when you have none of your own. Count on HIM! Love ya! Guest guest
, After my explant I didnt experience more pain, but I definately was completely weak and couldnt even leave the house . I too was also so discouraged and people were so worried about me , I kept losing weight, and just got worse, but now 10 months later it has gotten so much better. Last summer I hardly left the house due to my debilating fatigue and joint pain and I couldnt enjoy anything , I couldnt even drive. Thank God I can now once again do things that I couldnt do before, like laugh, drive,go places, etc. Dont get me wrong I still get aches when I overdo it but it is so much better than it was, I can manage so much better than before explant. But it is such a slow process and just give yourself time and dont lose hope . Also, were you ever tested for mycoplasma? Barby
Guest guest
lisa I have almost the same story - please trust me that it will get better. I think that your implants being removed stirred up the silicone chunks that were in your capsules and that is why you are feeling bad. I just went to my rhummy today and he said the same thing - please email me personally and I will give you my #. I have a TON of good info to help you feel better - some I just heard today!! give your # to me and I will call, OK? love shari
Guest guest
Hi , I just wrote Crystal on this very subject, so I hope you read that post.....patience, patience girlie, that is definitely a virtue you will want to cultivate right now! I remember when I got explanted I was like, okay, any day now this blasted brain fog is going to go away as quickly as it came, and I will be totally healed and have my health back! And I couldn't wait for that day because the brain fog was driving me to insanity...I don't know what I would have done if someone had a crystal ball and would have told me that I would struggle with that brain fog for the next 4 years....it probably would have really sent me over the edge. But I bravely battled on to get my health back, looking for every clue that would be my magic bullet, and make me win my battle. I only won my battle through letting go and letting God. He is the only One who could heal me and it was in His own timing. I guess He had some lessons He wanted me to learn first. Spiritual growth lessons. Oh, I am so glad He did! He is too awesome! So, fast forward from 1998 when I was in the pit of despair to 2004, when I finally have my energy back, my full and productive life back, and I can see in hindsight it was a long, long road I travelled. I had to work very hard, yes, detoxing, detoxing, detoxing, was key. And sometimes it came in baby steps and sometimes I made long strides. But there was no doubt I had to stay focused on healthy eating, while at the same time resting in knowing that time would be the one thing I could not control. It just had to pass. Rest easy. Let time heal you. Detox, detox, detox. And trust God.
