Guest guest
Hi everyone, I found this letter on a silicone site. But, I am hoping that all of you will help this gal. I'm so computer illiterate...I couldn't find the saline support address to send to her...I've given her some information that I have...but you all know so much more. I can't believe how much information you girls have. Here is her post: Ruptured implants and sick---need Dr. in So. Calif. by Kathy I had implants 24 years ago. I started feeling ill approximately 4 years later-just minor things-none of the doctors could find anything wrong with me no matter what tests they ran. I continued to feel worse and worse, having major migraine headaches, severe body pain, burning as though I was a burn victim or suffering from a major sunburn, fatigue from the time I got out of bed till I collapsed back in bed each night. It has been a life of hell. My implants ruptured in 1991 as I had a MRI since I suspected a problem. For the last 3 years silicone has been leaking through my skin. I have become so depressed and sick I stay at home 95% of the time as I feel so ill. Is it too late to have the implants removed?? Is there any chance I will not be in this major pain?? Or is it too late since I have had ruptured implants for so long?? And if I should get them out, does anyone know a good doctor in So. Calif.?? And do you know how much it costs??Lynda <coss@...> wrote: Good for you! We need people to stand up and tell it like it is.
