Guest guest
Cricket, that is so interesting. My pain is in all my joints, I wonder what my blood looks like. Did yours go away after taking the Ampoth...B stuff? (I can't spell it!) I want to find a doc here that does the live blood screen. Is that what it's called? Thanks girl. I love ya! Guest guest
Cricket Thanks for the info. It is something to think about. I have something to add to that. Dr. St. Amand does guaifenisen therapy for fms. Before he used guai, he used medicines that are used for gout patients. Gout patients have too much uric acid in their blood. I find it interesting that a gout med works on fibromyalgia. Somewhere there is a connection. Anyone with fms might check out the guai website. I tried it about 6 months before I got really sick. aT first I thought I was reacting to the guai as it produces herxes also. I realize now that I was just getting very sick from implants. Someday I intend to do the guai again as they are getting some amazing results. but i have trouble eliminating toxins so at this point I can't handle it. Guest guest
I have already had this test for uric acid and the tests were all negative, so I curious if this is something that does or does not show up in a regular blood test. Why would I only have the pain in my heels an no where else, and why would the steroid injections have worked so well if it were uric acid and not inflammation? Anyhow what exactly does he recomend people do for this problem? That is the key, since my levels have always been totally normal I don't know what else to do about it. I cannot go to see him, so I would love to know what he suggested Daryl do? Anyhow gosh I have so many emails to catch up on, as I got home yesterday from a white water rafting trip in the Salmon Idaho river OH MAN IT WAS PRETTY, like absoultely gorgeous, and I was thinking of all of you. hugs In , " Pam " <nannapam3103@y...> wrote: > Cricket, that is so interesting. Guest guest
, I am sure that you know if steroids worked, it is some kind of inflammation. What is you SED rate? Have you done other markers for inflammation. I had a high SED rate when I first was explanted, but it is gone now, completely normal. Guest guest
Yes Lynda steroid injections worked once but I don't want to do them again. I have totally normal blood tests though at one time I had a very high ANA. I feel totally normal except when I take calcium I end up with this spur thing in my wrist that kills, when I stop the ca it goes away, so I know for a fact I do not absorb calcium properly. My sed rate has always been normal, just the ana was high, it has been normal since then.My heels go back and forth and at times do not hurt, also it depends on the shoes I wear etc. In , Lynda <coss@p...> wrote: > , > > I am sure that you know if steroids worked, it is some kind of > inflammation. Guest guest
, welcome back. Sounds like you had a wonderful time. Can't wait to see you new look. We saw the uric acid on the live blood cell test. It looks like sharp edged orange/yellow glowing stuff in the blood. Cool looking, but because it's sharp edged when it flows through out the body with in the blood it makes tiny tares along the way. Or something like that. And yes it is gout. I will find out if there is something for it. But your post made me remember something. My father gets gout in his foot. Yes he had uric acid in his blood to but not very much, when he was tested. I remember that I told a friend of mine that he was suffering with gout awhile back and she told me to tell him to stay away from vitimine C and Calcium, that it would make it worse. I told my dad that but never really got anymore info from her. She said she had learned that along time ago in one of her college class's. I will try to find out more from Dr. Brodsky. I do remember Jim telling my dad there was something he could take, but he doen't get it very oven and decided not to take anything for it. Guest guest
Interesting, . What form of calcium do you take? Have you tried coral calcium, as many absorb that better and it contains minerals.
