For decades I never came across a child who had surgery for tongue-tie and those that did have the condition were assured that they'd be fine. Now it seems to be all the rage. Does anyone have figures for this surgery over the last three years or so? Can anyone map the incidence? What is the social class profile of the parents of these infants?
