Guest guest
What have you tried? I was on Desyrel (trazadone) for 4 years for the sleep disorder. When I finally got a magnetic mattress, I did get more sleep and got off the anti-depressants. I took St. 's Wort for 3 years when I was divorced, as I knew that I would have problems. I got off that also. I still have sleep disorder, but nothing like it was in 1991-4. I think a sleep disorder is one of the things that many of us have. Guest guest
Ok, Elavil is Imipramine, and did terrible things to me. Wellbrutin made me feel weird! You might try St. 's Wort, the best selling anti-depressant in Europe, available here over the counter. Trazadone did not have any sexual side effects for me. Doxepin is another that you did not mention. I used to work in mental health, (have a master's degree in social work), so am familiar with many of these except the newer ones. Lynda It may be worth a try.At 09:48 AM 7/21/2004, you wrote: >Lynda, > >Elavil, Serzone, Trazadone, Zoloft, Paxil, Wellbutrin, Sarafem, and a >few other I can't remember! Guest guest
Are drugs the only option for sleep disorder? What I learned about antidepressants AFTER I was prescribed them, was horrifying. I won't ever let anyone feed me those things again. I DO know how much lack of sleep can wreck your health though. I just have to think there is a better way.
