Guest guest
I also know many people get magnesium injections to relieve muscle spasms and cramping...I have never tried it, but those I know who get them swear by it. Ann
Guest guest
I wonder if there is an amino acid (for brain chemistry and neurological support) that would help with muscle twitches... > > > > I recently got back into pottery and realized that > > > > some of the clay bath materials (like Bentonite) can > > > > be purchased at a ceramics (specializing in pottery > > > > materials) supply store. Guest guest
- In the " For what it's worth " column, the pinkie/ring finger/ forearm symptoms are exactly the same for a pinched neck nerve. I have dealt with that for 12 years running and highly recommend a chiropractor to release the nerve via adjustment. There is a surgery for it, but my old pain specialist told me not to do it or I would regret it. He told me to go Chiropractic and it really, really helps. As to the sweating- I don't know your age, but it sure is part & parcel of menopause. Especially night sweats. As natural as it is for us to try to connect everything wrong w/us to meds or RA, it often is apples & elephants in comparison. That's just my 2 cents- and NOBODY pays me to think, so take it or leave it as you wish. Gentle hugs- in SC Frequent reader, but I seldom post. I'm pretty well controlled on plaquenil, but lately I've been having some muscle twitches all around my body and pain in my left forearm that goes down to my pinkie and ring fingers. Those two fingers don't quite feel numb, but there is some tingling. Has anyone else had these symptoms? I am currently in between Rheums, as mine has left his practice and I have an appointment with the new guy when he starts seeing patients in two weeks. Guest guest
I too am a member, but rarely post anymore. I was getting shaky hands, kinda like quivers. Bad enough that I would shake a cup of coffee right out of my hand and have a terrible time sleeping. My Dr. Diagnosed it as an essential tremor and gave me propranolol. AND IT WORKS! I had to have surgery and the nurse advised me to stop that me before surgery, because she thought it was for high bloodpressure. She had to look up and alternate uses, and was very surprised to find this to be true! Hope this helps, Carol M. in CA [ ] Muscle twitches Frequent reader, but I seldom post. The pain/twitching has been significant enough that I have had very little sleep the last two nights, so I was getting concerned that maybe something else was going on. Now that I think back, I've had these symptoms before (shortly after dx) but I thought they were side effects of Zoloft. (Along with anxiety and profuse sweating. Yikes.) I'm hoping someone here can confirm that they, too, have had this experience or at least know of others that have. Thanks!
