hello, as some of you may know i was recently explanted on june 30th

(12 days ago). since then the pain i had been experiencing in my

body has gotten worse. my worst fear was going through with the

surgery and still feeling the pain. well, it is still here, in fact

the pain has worsened in severity, it has spread to more parts of my

body, and is more constant. i feel like i'm going through a

downward spiral and i'm about to lose control. i was hoping to get

some feedback from all of you, a sort of recovery/healing timeline.

how you felt before your explant, and how soon or later you felt

improvement in your conditions. basically, i'm trying to figure out

if it's going to take a long time or if i should have seen

improvement by now. and also if there's anyone out there that has

gone through my similar scenario.

to breifly recap, i had saline filled implants in 1998 (for 6

years). my pain location is in my wrist, elbows and knees (worse

esp. when i bend my limbs), recently burning in both heels of my

feet, and also prickly/burning pain in random spots all over my arms

and legs. they don't worsen if you press on them. anyone out there

that sounds similar to this?

any input would help so much. i feel so depressed and in despair.

my hopes going into the explant were so high that i never imagined i

would be here as i am today. i don't want to lose all hope, because

once that happens... i can't even fathom how my life will be.

thank you all,

lisa
