I have my pre operative appointment this friday and was wondering

what specific questions I need to ask. I have a big list of them,

but I wanted to make sure I left nothing out.

Hi Nico:

Who are you seeing? I would ask about 1.enbloc, 2.capsular, 3.getting a lift,.3 what type of lift,4. what results you're looking for in terms of getting capsular out and aesthetic appearance of breast, 5.contact other patients of this doc to hear their experience, 6.insurance questions if applicable, 7. costs, 8. ask this doctor point blank why you should choose him/her over other doctors you have seen--what makes their technique unique and special, 9. risks, 10. complications--ask how they are handled if they should arise--is he accessible as far as reaching him by phone?, 11. Let him know this has been an emotional upset for you to be faced with this issue and that you want to come out of this healthier, ask how he can help. 12, ask to see photos and speak to other patients who have had explants/lifts. 13. Ask if he has had patients who have had complaints/complication with explant/lift and what course of medical intervention did he employ to improve the situation. 14. Ask

about credentials/hospital affiliations. 15. Where is the surgical facility, are they accredited? 16.What type of anesthesia is used, can you have sedation/with local or do you need general anesthesia. 17. Ask who the anesthesiologist is and talk to them prior about health history--make sure they use an MD anesthesiologist to put you under. 18. Costs.

Hugs,
