Also known as French Curl. For the triceps. usually done with an EZ curl

bar.

Lie flat Hands on bar - bar goes from forehead above the face and back down.

Hence - Skull crusher should you drop it!

Lying triceps extensions to the forehead. If you drop the bar, your

skull gets crushed...

PS -- I used to visit Naples, FL every year for brief vacations (mostly

fishing in Chokoloskee Bay). I hear it has grown up quite a bit since

the late 80's...

This is a description from Dave Tate www.elitefitnesssystems.com :

Skull Crushers: This exercise is designed to isolate the medial and outer heads

of the triceps. Begin this movement by laying with your back on a bench. Take a

medium to close grip on a barbell. Unrack the weight and extend your arms

directly above your upper chest. Lower the barbell toward your forehead while

keeping your upper arms motionless and your elbows turned inward. Reverse the

direction by using your triceps to extend your arms to the starting position.
