Guest guest
Sorry that I've been away. I pushed my surgery date back and wish I had not. I am due to go see Dr. Kolb July 29, 2004 for consultation. Then I will set up for explantation. I have not been feeling good lately. Today, I have a ringing in my ears and feel like an old women. I have been seeing a holistic doctor who has been doing IPTs and a procedure where toxins are pulled out of the feet into water. He always says, " you're too young to be feeling this way. " I am not sure that his treatments can even help me until I get these things out. I have thought about doing Chelation therapy, we'll see. Guest guest
Joann: Good luck on your upcoming appointment. I hope all goes well for you. Regardless of what type of therapy a doc suggests (in your case you're thinking about chelation), traditional, nontraditional, make sure you ask WHY they are recommending a mode of treatment and IF they can provide you with double-blind scientific data (done independently of them and the drug company or any manufacturer of product)to show that this forms of therapy actually works. Some of these "fad" medications/treatments are given and have no scientific bases that it works. Case in point: HGH/Somatropin use. You hear all this BS and hoopla over this drug for anti aging purposes, yet real research done independently by Univ. Virginia says there's no proof , yet the anti-aging docs and drug companies wants you to believe otherwise because they're cashing in. I was such a fool to believe Eli Lilly's own research about it's safety and it's benefits to skin and hair growth.Always ask for independent data. Do research too. I wish I had before injecting myself with that crap. Never be afraid to challenge the system and ask questions. I just blindly trusted my two endos.
