Guest guest
Hello there Kim, and Welcome. You sound like a great friend. YES, those are CLASSIC symptoms of an autoimmune reactions from implants. In other words, her immune system has gone 'funky'. Her body is reacting to the implants(rejecting them), and it is probably best for her to find a Plastic Surgeon who will remove them correctly, before her symptoms get worse. MOST plastic surgeons will not admit it is the implants. This site has a list of 'good surgeons' who do removal properly'. You have to get the scar tissue around the implant out( that is a method called enbloc)And she would want a skilled surgeon (who has done lotsa explants), so that her breasts will look good afterward. I wish I had a friend like you when I first started having symptoms, and probably would not have a chronic illness right now. I am only 35yrs old, and on disability. I have been on this site on and off for a few years now, and it always the 'same classic symtpoms'. You can read some of the symtpoms by clicking on the HOME link to the right of this message board. There is a list there, including fatigue, hair loss, joint and muscle pain...ect ect. There is a great wealth of information here for you to check out. If your friend gets them out now, I do believe she can get better, as she has only a few symptoms. I hope you can help her to see that the implants are not safe, and by removing them, there is hope to heal. Unfortunatly, you may not get the same response from teh medical community. Take it from all of us here, we have experienced the bad effects of implants. Anyway Kim, welcome again, and if you have any other questions there are a bunch of nice ladies here who can help you in any way they can. hugs.
