Guest guest
I just read Patty's post about the research/ study. That was good advice. I would definately find out WHO funds the study, and what is going to be done with the study. Make sure you do not have to shell out money!! I was involved with a CFS study a while back. I was really disappointed in it. Because they promised me that they would give me FREE bloodwork, and tests. They were claiming 'this study will help CFS patients'. BUT when I got there, they said I had to go to MY Dr. and requests the tests/bloodwork. So I did. During the study, I found out that it was funded by the State. Also, this study was just to see how 'Stress effects CFS'. I dont' think it would have taken all that money 'funded by the State to figure that one out'!! Also, the man doing the study, his name rang a bell to me. Then I realized I had a book of his at home called 'Coping with CFS'. This book also had statistics in it! HHHHHMMMMMMMM, was he benefiting himself, to write another book??? VERY SHADY. I was very disappointed. I did not want to do the study, but my boyfriend made me..LOL. He said I am always complaining about how they never do research!! Well, after I found out the facts, I was still complaining! Just a thought. hugs and health.
