I've testified at the FDA hearings for saline implants, I've corresponded with umpteen women online, had a saline website since 1998, had my story in newspapers, magazines, tv... the ^%$#@! things were approved anyway. I know we all do what we can to speak out against these awful devices, and I have prayed about what to do now, where to go with this, whether to quit, whether to keep on with what sometimes seems to be a hopeless task. The only thing that comes to mind at the moment is to post as many saline implant horror stories as I can on SOS. I hope you will contribute yours. The biggest difference between the gel implant hearings and the saline implant hearings is NUMBERS. Since salines have been in predominant use since around 1992, the women who have received them are now becoming ill. Maybe you are one of them. I hope you will want to speak out about your experience, to help us counter the many websites pushing saline implants AND the ABC tv show "Extreme Makeover"... Maybe we can make a difference in the lives of the hundreds of thousands of women who want and receive implants every year.
