How, pray tell, would lifting make you fatter? I suggest you pick up

a basic exercise physiology text. Whatever you've picked up from TV

and/or philosophy texts is not serving you well here.

Using just plain common sense - lifting heavy means expending more energy

than not lifting, or lifting light weights. How could that POSSIBLY make

you fatter? You might not get stronger, though, unless you eat more.

Dear , you are probably already strong enough. Don't do anything!

You could lift easily lift me with your hands!

, maybe you should work more on the power - self-esteem stuff for a

while. Now, how do you do that?!

You didn't answer my question - Just tell me yes or no. Will lifting heavy

weights between 4-10 reps increase my bodyfat levels?

[Read Matt's reply again - do you think that he meant " yes " ? Other group

members also asked how one could possibly gain bodyfat by expending more

energy/calories and not eating more. MCS]
