, my little sis was into that whole gothic thing, and was for a while. That was around the age of 13-15, and it was bad. Now, she is traveling around the world to spread Gods gospel. Who would have thought? Want to hear something funny? We were so sick of our little blond, and I mean BLond hair, fair Larena, wearing black lipstick, (it glowed on her! )so one day, when she was out with her friends at this ice cream place, me, my mom and step dad all put black lipstick on, and walked in, smiling! We looked like idiots, people could not stop staring-but we were desperate! It made her crazy we were copying her,and the very thing he did to stand out and be differnt from us,we were doing, so it was no longer the same. She never wore it again. But she did get into all this weird music, and even cutting her skin. It was scary. We used to pray over her, when she was sleeping.

I think now, looking back, Larena is very unique and needed someplace to fit in, all her crazy notions, and thoughts, artisitc ways, and all. And to this type of group, she could, it just leered her the wrong way. Its just a place, they feel like they can fit in, and realy want you to understand , to prove, to scream -they are differnt. She is so normal now! I hope and pray your daughter will also change and be protected under God's watchful eye, while going through this. And that people will understand her, and be patient around her. Im sorry you are going through this. Hang in there , you cant blame yourself. Does she want to be with you? Is that what is troubling her? It must be so hard for her too. That is scary about boyfriends though! ulie>From: "naturalbeauty38" <naturalbeauty38@...> >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Paracites/ >Date: Thu, 08 Jul 2004 18:48:17 -0000 > >I am stressed about seeing her, as it has been a year since I have >seen her, I am scared of how much weight she has gained( my parents >say she is the same but they see her all the time) and then the fact >that she has several boyfriends (she is 12) and is wearing makeup, >and is into this gothic thing, where they all wear black and stuff, >and it is kind of creepy.
