I would prefer using the so called Borg scale which is a scientific

valid and reliable scale. (Validity and reliability over 0.90!!,1.00

The Borg scale is a scale ranging from 6 to 20, with 6 being equal to

no problem at all and 20 very very hard.

[The 6-20 scale was Borg's original scale based upon the observation that most

exercise heart rates fall between 60 and 200 beats per minute. Later, he

modified it to the 1-10 RPE scale which he found to be just as acceptable.
