Your PS may not be aware of autoimmune illness or he could be a liar. You need to go to your family doctor and a rhuematologist who deal with implant issues. If you live in NYC, Dr. is a very good rhuematologist. Your PS will probably be of little use here if he's already telling you that what you're feeling is the norm. What type of implants did you get? Why did you get them? I got implants because of ptosis (sagging from weight loss). Had I known about vertical mastopexy, I would have never went down the implant road. I was explanted after 3 weeks. I hated the way my implants looked and they were SOOOOO uncomfortable. The bad thing is, I was explanted in a horrendous fashion that has left me maimed and in need of further Reconstruction.
