Guest guest
HI, Also one of my doctors told me to put potassiam chloride salt (very cheap at health food store) and celtic salt in your drinking water everyday. I put it in my water jug. It helps alkaniise your body. The celtic salt has 80 minerals in it right from the sea. It's about $6 a bag for the rough, large granulated raw type and that will last you for a very long time. We all have to get our bodies a little on the alkaline side (I know that is my major problem) with the FMS. Anyway just another little tip. Love to all Judi L

Guest guest
After the birth of my third son, I had a lot of problems.. I was nursing him, and having trouble producing enough milk to keep up with him..my implants were not supposed to interfere with nursing as they were placed under the muscle.. My sons tongue was "tied" and he couldnt suck properly, and I was feeding every twenty minutes. I also had periods of extreme anxiety and excess energy.. I was always a type A personality anyway, and I got to where I would only get four hours a night no matter what I did...after four hours I was wide awake. Then I crashed...after months of no sleep, I could no longer function...I still could not sleep and was put on an antidepressant which made me suicidal. I even ended up in the psych unit very near psychosis. After many months of different drugs and even anticonvulsant medication to make me slow down. I wasnt getting better. It turns out I had a thyroid disorder that causes production of T4 to fluctuate. After begining medication, Synthroid I was better after three days... It completely corrected the sleeping difficulty. A year and some later, I still take it and I have not had any return of anxiety or depression since. April.
Guest guest
I was wondering did you have any other signs or symptoms along with the depression and sleeplessness? I believe that hormones can effect so much! I also have saline implants and I am dealing with depression and anxiety. I haven't slept in three nights. --- In , Aprilcupcake@a... wrote: > After the birth of my third son, I had a lot of problems.. > I was nursing him, and having trouble producing enough > milk to keep up with him..my implants were not supposed > to interfere with nursing as they were placed under the > muscle.. > My sons tongue was " tied " and he couldnt suck > properly, and I was feeding every twenty minutes. > > I also had periods of extreme anxiety and excess > energy.. > I was always a type A personality anyway, and I > got to where I would only get four hours a night > no matter what I did...after four hours I was wide > awake. > Then I crashed...after months of no sleep, I could > no longer function...I still could not sleep and was > put on an antidepressant which made me suicidal. > I even ended up in the psych unit very near psychosis. > > After many months of different drugs and even > anticonvulsant medication to make me slow down. > I wasnt getting better. > It turns out I had a thyroid disorder that causes > production of T4 to fluctuate. > After begining medication, Synthroid I was better > after three days... > It completely corrected the sleeping difficulty. > A year and some later, I still take it and I have not > had any return of anxiety or depression since. > April. Guest guest
I have PMS too. I'm going to try natural progesterone. I have plenty of estrogen, low testosterone. My thyroid is supposedly fine. April, thank you for asking. How are you? Guest guest
Hi Marie, I just wanted to tell you the progesterone cream did wonders for me. I was two days away from a hysterectomy and I started using the cream and we were able to cancel the surgery! I hope it helps you as much. Love, Anita Re: Re: I can't sleep - -Marie I have PMS too. Guest guest
I also could not breastfeed, despite all I was told. It was hell, and I was very upset I couldnt. AS I would have never gottenthem, if I werent told that "they are behind the muscle and do not interfere with breast tissue" I still get teary about it, I realy wanted the best for my son, and to breast feed. Now I know I may have harmed him from my poor decisions .....Boy was I dumb at 20. >From: Aprilcupcake@... >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Re: I can't sleep - -Marie >Date: Wed, 18 Aug 2004 22:15:20 EDT > >After the birth of my third son, I had a lot of problems.. >I was nursing him, and having trouble producing enough >milk to keep up with him..my implants were not supposed >to interfere with nursing as they were placed under the >muscle.. >My sons tongue was "tied" and he couldnt suck >properly, and I was feeding every twenty minutes. > >I also had periods of extreme anxiety and excess >energy.. >I was always a type A personality anyway, and I >got to where I would only get four hours a night >no matter what I did...after four hours I was wide >awake. >Then I crashed...after months of no sleep, I could >no longer function...I still could not sleep and was >put on an antidepressant which made me suicidal. >I even ended up in the psych unit very near psychosis. > >After many months of different drugs and even >anticonvulsant medication to make me slow down. >I wasnt getting better. >It turns out I had a thyroid disorder that causes >production of T4 to fluctuate. >After begining medication, Synthroid I was better >after three days... >It completely corrected the sleeping difficulty. >A year and some later, I still take it and I have not >had any return of anxiety or depression since. >April. Guest guest
April, It sure sounds like thyroid meds were a life saver for you! So glad to hear that!
