Guest guest
You know when you are in the middle of a flare, you think you will be stuck with this stuff the rest of your life. I swear I feel like there are cobwebs in my brain. I am wondering if I should be tested for Mycoplasma or wait until my insurance changes over in January. I would like to get a live blood microscopy at that time as well. ps. On the bright side, I have been consistently walking and lifting weights every evening. I am thinking about purchasing a bike and making everyone ride with me. hugs, Beth
Guest guest
- Beth Just keep hanging in there! One of the most frustrating things about treating these types of illnesses is their cyclical nature. Just when you think you are making improvement, the symptoms return. Sometimes even worse. Then it is easy to get discouraged and think you are getting worse and there is no hope etc. I have done that for 3 years. Each time I herxed, I was very afraid that I was just getting worse. Sometimes the worsening lasted for only a day, other times for days, weeks and even longer. When I started to attack yeast specifically, I got worse and stayed that way. I know it is very ingrained and I will not back off or it will never get better. I am so sensitive to things that when I cook my egg in coconut oil--which I love by the way--that an hour later I would get pass out like fatigue and increased pain. But I have been cooking an egg in coconut oil now for about a month daily. I have less of a reaction finally. Now on some days I don't even know that I ingested the oil. But now if I use the coconut oil twice in one day, I feel worse. On two separate occasions, I cooked organic liver in some coconut oil. Each time I got terrible muscle twitching, tightening and then a migraine like headache. I know I am just really herxing to both the oil and liver which is full of enzymes, glutathione and vitamins, etc. I tell you this to show you that feeling bad again is not necessarily a sign of worsening. It is often just part of the cyclical process of getting better. It is great that you are consistently walking---I am too. I walk 1-2 miles a day with my dog on the Rock Island Trail. It is a natural trail and I love to look at the wildflowers and wildlife. It is so peaceful. I always feel great when I am walking. But then when I get home the fatigue tends to return!! Someday it won't! Hugs, kathy -- In , " bethlakey " <bethlakey@y...> wrote: > You know when you are in the middle of a flare, you think you will > be stuck with this stuff the rest of your life.
