Guest guest
Hey girlie I miss you ha ha. I don't know exactly where I get my exercise thing from, I just think since I have the body type that i have tested and proved feels better after a workout rather than without one, I know it is the right thing for me. However, I experimented with allot of this stuff when I was on pretty strong pain meds and allot of them, and that is when I started getting better and better. Then I found the things I can do and do only those things. I cannot walk/run period for very long at all, only if being chased or something ha ha. I found the eliptical machine was something I could do at the gym for long periods of time, up to an hour, meaning about 8 miles on that machine and it burns calories just like running but causes me no foot pain or issues. Also got into cycling, it is a great workout and realy kept me in shape through out implants and everything I still rode that bike everywhere, sometimes on 30 -50 mile rides just getting my head clear or trying to ha ha. I think cycling for people with FMS etc is a good workout, so yeah not everyone can aford the gym I have in my basement ($25,00) total cost of my home gym with my bowflex and my little yoga ball. Get a bike, hell you live in Florida you don't really need a gym membership, you should be able to work out year round there I am sure. Get a bike, get a nice mountain bike that way you work a little harder so you don't have to go as long or far. That would be a good workout for you and get you going. I really think if you stick with it awhile the first bad times will pass. If I am wrong then stop, but I really think the sweating and all will get your heart rate going. I did not lift wieghts much till I got to Idaho about 3 years ago and then I still was not sure I could do it. I have found machines like the bowflex are better for my body than free weights and find I get just as fit. So those are some thoughts, for you with your pain not being like mine in my feet you might try walking too and then light sprints of running in between. I think you can get there, and not hurt yourself, take your medication right before you go, and then if you need it take it again when you get back, hell I figured better to take a pain pill and do something than take one anyhow and sit around aching anyhow. It got to where I did not know if my aches and pain were the illness or the workouts, I told myself it was just normal everyone felt that way after a work out, hell it got better so yeah I think it helped. Let me know if I can do anything else for you, then start a light program and give it a shot girlie, it might be just what you need!
