Guest guest
Before I knew that my implants were the cause of all my flu-like symptoms, I was diagnosed with Fibro. I went to a holistic MD here in L.V. and a hospital in Chicago who both said that it sounded like I had Candida. They gave me some questions about birth control, antibiotics, and sugar cravings which I answered YES to. They both put me on this extremely strict diet which was just meat and veggies, since I don't eat meat, the veggies were it, and with all my sugar cravings, I wasn't strong enough to stay on it. When I went to my other Dr.s and asked them about Candida, they laughed and said it was a bunch of Bull. I was sort of relieved because I knew the diet was very hard to me. Now I have been explanted for 1 yr. and still have pain and fatigue. I read the book called The Yeast Connection, and the symptoms fit me to a tee. I did some medical tests like a blood culture (which showed yeast) and a throat swab (which showed thrush (yeast)) and my Dr.s still didn't believe that had anything to do with my problems!! I had my live blood analysis done twice and have seen Candida both times. It reminds me of these gross little fleas that I got when I took in a stray cat once. They were so hard to get rid of! My husband also has it and I've read that it can be given back and forth sexually-What a mess!! I hope that you don't have it Haven't we all been thru enough????? Love, Daryl Re: any natural remedys to kill a l bacteria infection? Hi Rogene, Yes the test was specific for Candida. I guess it isn't the only yeast in the body that can "over-grow". One of my children's teachers' had a very bad systemic yeast infection a couple of years ago...not candida either, but it almost killed her. She had multiple problems for many years, and finally she ended up in the hospital. Confused and unable to get up. It took quite awhile to diagnose it, I think she was in there for close to three weeks. She is doing well now, lost alot of weight and feels good. She cannot have any fruit or simple sugars though, and carbos to a minimum as a result. She can have meat and raw veggies and thats about it. Many of the moms in the class gossiped about her alot, with regards to wether or not she had implants...because she certainly had size and unusual firmness. I would suspect that she does. She doesnt look any different now, in that department though, so I guess her body has learned to live with it. I have read some about Candida and it sounds very troublesome. I wonder if other strains of yeast are as difficult to deal with? Aprilc.
