Hi Shari!

I don't know if I'm this you're referring to as there are other 's here--though only ONE -Marie--lol.

Anyway, I don't belong to a gym though I have a gym/spa in the high rise condo I live in. My "gym", if you will, is in Rock Creek Park in the city and I speed walk or briskly walk (depending on how I feel and the weather) about 5-7 miles 5 times per week. I don't go out if I'm having a bad day or have my period--it's too painful. I stretch before going and I go at near sunset as the afternoon hours are too hot and early morning is out of the question because I sleep later.

I wear bike shorts and a tee and good running shoes so I'm comfortable. I wait at least an hour-two after eating before going out to avoid cramping. Though I do still feel "bruised", I do feel better physically and psychologically afterward. I take a long shower than become a couch potato for the remainder of the night unless I'm going out.
