hmmm, very interesting, what is celiac disease? I'll have to look

it up. Well, I had to call my healthcare provider yesterday to get

a referral to a neurologist. I woke up yesterday numb from my

throat down to my toes on the left side. I was also inflamed or

something, even in the throat area, kind of lumpy feeling. I do

know I have an enlarged thyroid. And I thought, well, this is it,

I'm probably going to choke to death or something. But I got out

and walked for about 40 minutes, and that helped alot.

Thanks ,

hugs,

Beth

> Beth, has Dr Kolb or any other doc tested you for celiac disease.

If so, just ask them to, if you have any of the symptoms. That also

causes peripheal neuropathy, often overlooked in the US, and

implants may be the trigger for this gluton sensitivity to occur

(weakened aggravated immunity) I would look into to. Just to rule

out, all others if it is bothering you. As a change in diet could

immensly change your life. Often celiacs, once they get the gluton

out, the other symptoms and disease go into remission, or at least

calm down.

Wow Beth, that is quite a scary experience! I am glad you could at least walk. I had a totally numb arm one morning several years ago...when I woke up I could absolutely do nothing with it. I freaked out and beat it to death (LOL) and the feeling returned pretty quick, first the tingling all over and then the feeling started coming back. To this day I have no clue what happened. Is that what happened with you?

I hope it goes away as mysteriously as mine did.

By the way celiac disease is an autoimmune disease in which your body cannot tolerate wheat products at all. Basically it is a severe wheat allergy.
